Burkett wins at Texas World.

David Burkett (Corpus Christi) won both F1000 races at the Texas Two Step Double National held at the Texas World Speedway on the weekend of March 6th/7th.
Driving his new Firman RFR F1000 car, Burkett took pole position on day one following up with a race win and a new lap record (1.37.31) over a second quicker than his own existing record set in a Stohr.
Day two, although wet, resulted in a clean sweep for the Firman chassis with Burkett again securing pole and taking the overall win.
